The opening was a huge success and was attended by some 350 donors, teachers and students.
This Auditorium as made possible as a result of donations we received from 200 JC Old Boys and in particular a large donation from Karl Hendrickson. As you can see from the pictures the event was an affair to remember. Old friends and classmates on seeing each other, reminisced of their days of yesteryear. It was great to see the camaraderie. It was also great to have Frank Hall, who flew in from Cayman especially for the function and whom I might remind you broke the Norman Manley’s 10 sec. record in the hundred yards in 1952. The record had been in existence since 1911.
We say a big thank you to all who supported this magnificent effort and remind you that there is still more to be done.
Work is still burning in the field.
